As part of my education, I was presented with the question, "How can you ensure that ugly animals also receive enough donations to be saved?" I decided to take on this challenge with my learning goal of becoming better at digital illustration in mind.
I ended up selecting nine animals and designing them in a cartoon style (loosely based on Pokémon). I then used these designs to create merchandise such as stickers, tote bags, mugs, and booklets.
The idea behind these "Forgotten Creatures" is that their attractive illustration style will make them more appealing. The merchandise can then be sold in stores such as Bruna, with a fixed percentage of the profits being donated to charities that help these animals.
